Gail
Johnson
Born in Boston, Massachusetts,
Gail spent her formative years in New York state with an avid interest
in art since her teen years at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute
in Utica NY. She attended Boston University, and later moved to
Canada to take art courses at Toronto's Central Technical School
and Ontario College of Art in preparation for admission into University
of Toronto's Medical Illustration Degree Program.
A member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Gail achieved AFCA
signature status in March 2006. Her work has been in numerous group
exhibitions and solo shows in British Columbia and Alberta, and
can be found in private collections throughout North America.

Catherine Moffat
Moffat's watercolour still-life
paintings depict objects that have a special, personal appeal. Using
the traditional tools of shading, perspective, colour harmony, intense
attention to detail and careful composition, Catherine creates realistic
and appealing images which convey an underlying sense of stillness,
calm and elegance. Since Catherine began painting professionally in
1978, she has held numerous solo and group exhibitions and has participated
in invitational events and charity benefits across Canada. Her work
has received awards in national and regional exhibitions and can be
found in private and corporate collections worldwide.

Kathryn Amisson
born in Manitoba - resides in Victoria BC
Kathryn Amisson's family moved to British Columbia where her strong
connection to its ocean shores took root. Throughout the well-defined
seasons of the West Coast year, Kathryn and her husband, Graeme Roberts,
spend much of their leisure time on the coast she so loves. Kathryn
is an artist in residence at "Painters at Painter's" held
annually at Painter's Lodge in Campbell River, B.C. Invited since
its' inception in 1994 she has participated every year along with
such renowned artists as Ted Harrison, Fenwick Lansdowne, Toni Onley,
and Robert Genn. Her work has been purchased by individuals and collectors
world wide and her efforts in aiding and contributing to her chosen
group of charities is well acknowledged and recognized.

Carol Evans
born
in Vancouver - resides on Saltspring Island BC
Carol Evans was raised in a number of communities throughout British
Columbia, finishing high school in the Yukon. After time in the Queen
Charlottes she enrolled in the University of Victoria fine arts program.
Realizing her interest and forte were in the medium of watercolor,
she withdrew from the program and eventually moved to the Gulf Islands.
For a time she worked as an illustrator of children's literature,
but soon took a serious interest in landscape painting. Her work is
now extremely popular with art collectors. Balanced in her ability
to create portraits, panoramic land and seascapes, as well as wildlife
and botanical studies, Carol creates powerful paintings renowned for
their realism.

Marlene Davis
1955 in Vancouver - resides in
Victoria BC
A graduate of the Victoria College of Art and the University of Victoria,
Marlene Davis' two passions are painting and animals. In 1987 Davis
received the Province of BC's Scholarship Grant, and in 2003, the
CVMA Humane Award. Her work is found in numerous collections including
Camosun College, Cumberbirch Insurance, Grant McEwan College (Edmonton),
British Importers, and the Provincial Art Collection of BC. She even
has a Green Belt in Kung Fu.
