Tammy Hudgeon
born on the Canadian Prairies
- resides on Gulf Islands BC
Hudgeon's unrestrained use of colour is inspired by nature. Her
love of art, music, dance, colour and nature keeps her work full
of "happy energy". Her glass celebrates her lifestyle
in recurring themes: sea life, flowers, fruits & vegetables,
people, music, animals and nature. Hudgeon's personal life journey
combined with her extensive travels to countries with traditional
cultures and spiritual beliefs is reflected in the spiritual nature
of many of her pieces. Since childhood, Hudgeon has loved glass:
from collecting coloured bottles with her parents, to stained glass
and then to glass fusing. Hudgeon's work can be found in private
and corporate collections throughout the world, and has also been
purchased and collected by one of Japan's most famous Riokhan's.
She exhibits in galleries in BC, Alberta, Montreal, Floida and Philadelphia.

Judi Wild
resides in Comox Valley BC
Judi Wild spent 11 years as a draftsperson and another
11 years as a graphic designer. She now uses these skills to decorate
& enhance her artwork. With her lithographed prints she works
to make each one special & unique. Judi has developed and mastered
the labour- intensive method of applying watercolors using the "drybrush"
technique. This gives her work that "extra" in delicate
detail which she tirelessly portrays. She is represented in the National
Archives of Canada, and her art is displayed world-wide in many
corporate collections. She has won several competitions including
the "Peoples Choice" award at the 1996 Brant Festival
and again in 1998. Most recently a collector from Saudi Arabia purchased
a number of her original watercolour paintings documenting the Queen
Charlotte Islands. As her schedule is so busy, Judi regrets that
she is no longer able to set aside the time to teach her unusual
painting style to eager students in the Comox Valley.
